Last year I had a Robin who would follow me around the garden as I dug around the soil. He would shout when he wanted me to move and then once he was back in the tree, I could continue weeding. It made the job a whole lot longer, but we built up a great relationship and understanding of each other. This painting is inspired by the many photographs I took of my little friend.
