Full description
A burgundy cotton rose, overstitched with white cotton. Some edges are gently frayed to give a shabby chic effect. The leaves are made from a pretty black and silver floral silk effect fabric and have distressed edging. Zigzag stitch is used to ensure the fabric does not fray further and to give a gentle curved effect. The addition of a gold coloured floral button pulls the whole item together and echoes the natural centre of a full blown rose. This pretty little corsage will lift any outfit. It is secured with a safety pin. the corsage measures 2.5 by 3.5 ins. It was inspired by the rose decoration on a handbag I made for myself.
