Original 1970's large artwork that was created from a drawing of a natural form I produced but I can also see a landscape in it too and could not decide whether it should be hung horizontally or portrait. I think I'll let you decide!
It was hand drawn then painted using good old fashioned bottled inks and watercolour! They're so much fun to use as you can get some real detail with them. Using fine line pen the outline was drawn first and then the inks were applied with tiny sable brushes.
My studio is based in Scotland where all my artwork is sent to you with love and commitment. I've also exhibited in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee and lecture in design and art. It's my passion!
The artwork has been mounted on artists card and my framer has included a 'v' cut detail which I think really enhances the frame. Total size is 16 x 27 inches.
I suggest that this vintage artwork would look stunning in a living area. It would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary gift as it's so original and as it's from Scotland I doubt the happy couple would receive anything else so unique and exclusive.
And if there's a special birthday or celebration then I think this would make a wonderfully treasured gift.
