Daisies, stitched in embroidery thread, peep out from the meadow grass of this embroidered bookmark.
The daisies have been stitched onto a hand felted background, of merino, mohair and silk fibres. The plaque is formed by stretching the design over a recycled plastic bottle top. The back is neatened with commercial felt. Couching over a yarn in blues and greens, frames the design. The 'tail' of the bookmark is a length of green ribbon.
