Hand painted butterfly cake stand in blue and yellow. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
Glazed in sky blue and transparent this ceramic cake stand has been thrown on the wheel with white stoneware clay. The piece has a wide shallow rimmed top sitting on a circular pedestal base.
Inspired by the gentle fluttering of summer butterflies in long hazy days the top of this stand has been hand painted with yellow, blue and beige slip.
A lovely stand for birthdays full of cupcakes, this piece will provide a decorative centrepiece even when all the cake has gone!
This cake stand can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
It has a diameter of 8 inches (22.3 cm) and a height of 3.8 inches (8.4 cm)
It has been created in a smoke free, pet free home.
