This quilt has been loosely based on the "Flying Geese" design.
The quilt measures 65.5 inches, square and weighs 34 oz's. The fresh white fabric accents all the complimenting and contrasting colours perfectly giving this quilt a modern feel. There are various fabric designs on this quilt stripes, dots, checks, flowers even the odd strawberry and stars. The backing fabric is blue and white stripe with a lovely soft feel to it. A stitch in the ditch method has been used to reflect the top's design in the bottom fabric. Again the binding is of double thickness, mitred corners and hand sewn on the reverse.
Great as a winter top up for those really cold nights and alone over a sheet in summer.
This quilt is made from 100% quality cotton fabrics and quilted with a non allergenic polyester batting. It ban be machine washed at 30 degrees but I would not recommend tumble drying.
