When I found this cute little wooden box in a charity shop it was just crying out for a new lease of life! Its clear glass front made me think it would be a fab storage box for a seamstress or crafter's ribbons so I set out to find something to transform it with...
...a bag of preused buttons and a tube of PVA glue soon did the trick and voila - an 'upcycled' storage box!! Of course this box could be used for many other things such as storing buttons, material scraps, jewellery or any trinkets you wish.
The buttons range in size, colour and shape and some also have brand names from the clothing they were rescued from!
The box measures 18cm wide, 8cm deep and 8.5cm high (+a little more height in the buttons!).

Remember this creation is for the Sue Ryder Upcycle Christmas Competition, in which proceeds will go to the charity - so be generous!
