The main feature of this pretty bag is the lovely 1950's vintage brocade fabric which appears in the patchwork design on the front of the bag and forms the entire back panel.
A choice of shapes in one bag! Just large enough for phone, purse, keys and small personal items, this bag is a pretty accessory for evening use or with a spring/summer outfit for a wedding perhaps?
This small bag may be used, closed with a loop over a button, as shown in the main picture. For added security, and a change of shape, fold down the back of the bag and tie with a ribbon bow, fold down the front of the bag and fasten with the ribbon loop over the second button. Photo 2 shows the back of the bag, indicating the positions of the two buttons. Photos 3 and 4 show the 'transformed' bag - giving a shape similar to a 'pillow gift box'. The base of the bag is a 'gusset' in a 'pointed oval' shape - enabling the bag to hold its shape.
The front panel is formed from strip patchwork chosen to compliment the main brocade fabric. The seams are embellished with hand embroidery in pink embroidery thread. Pink satin ribbon provides further embellishment. The back of the bag is formed from the vintage brocade.
The bag is lined with a pink and white striped fabric. The strap is formed from a toning pink, cream and beige fabric.
