I love playing with yarns, knitting and crochet, and really enjoy creating unusual items from them. I felt this multi-coloured yarn would be perfect for the spring and summer months. This is a 1940's inspired style handbag, ideal for an occasional bag, evening wear, or as a bridal handbag too. Would make a beautiful handbag for a little girl.

'Summer Sky' fully lined Hand Knitted Handbag, with Crocheted detail and three Lucite & Shell button closure. I felt this handbag would suit a little girl, but of course if a lady wanted a small handbag, it would be lovely too!
This handbag is handmade and sewn by myself to my own unique design. I do not work from patterns, everything I create is from my own imagination and totally unique.
The colours in the main body of the handbag, are pale blue, mauve and white, in a bobble style yarn
The yarn for this particular handbag is 100% cotton in the main body and the crocheted edging and integral handle is in a cream and gold yarn which is 94% cotton, 3% polyester and 3% polyamide. The handbag has been fully lined with 100% cotton material, to make it durable and usable as a handbag.
Approximate Measurements:
When closed the handbag is roughly rectangular in shape and measures approx 27cms in width and approx 20cms in height and its widest points.
The handbag can be hand or machine washed at a cool temeperature, but I would suggest shaping whilst damp and drying flat to retain its shape.
