Evergreens creation came about after staring out of the windows watching the wonderful snow falls we recently experienced here in England, when I noticed the many different shades of green that the conifers & pine trees were around our home. Evergreen is a chevron block throw that I have arranged in a beautiful array of rich brocades & heavy duchess satins, with the contrasting mix of greens, honeys & bisque this timelessly charming throw would fit in perfectly in to any home.
The back has a delightful swirl of the tiniest ditsy rose heads in a deep butterscotch tone on tone printed cotton, which I have hand tied using natural mother of pearl buttons & for the batting (wadding) I have used a 2oz super soft polyester mix. As with all Chic Throws the edge binding is double folded before it’s machine sewn on the front & completely hand sewn on the back encapsulating the batting to give it a plump but hard wearing finish.
Evergreen can be washed on a gentle, cool wash of 30 degrees & should then be dried flat, to maintain its beautiful appearance run a cool steam iron over once dry.
