Full description
A neat and attractive patchwork shoulder or cross-body bag. The length of the cord to be finished to the purchaser's specification.
A strip of patchwork formed from a carefully chosen selection of dress cottons and light weight furnishing fabrics is formed into this bag. The patchwork is embellished with ribbons, couched knitting ribbon with a gold thread and cross stitch embroidery. A dart at each side, creates a flat base. The bag pinches in to become flat at the top, and has a slight trapezium shape ( the top being wider than the base on the front and back). The bag is lined with a plain cream fabric. A cord handle is bound through D-rings securely stitched in place at the top of the bag. The length of the cord should be specified by the purchaser ( up to the maximum given in the dimensions), this ensures a good 'fit' for your chosen way of carrying the bag. The bag closes with a loop over a vintage button.
