This small stained glass item was handmade on the Isle of Wight and is about 19 cm square. It was handmade using lead came. Lead is poisonous: not suitable for children. The central piece is painted glass which was then kiln fired to bond the special glass paint into the glass: no fading or flaking! The face is a copy from a medieval window of a devilish monster. The surrounding patchwork-like glass pieces are recycled from sundry sources. Some were samples from my student days which I have cut up and used here: some were salvaged from skips; some were dug up in the vegetable garden. This piece comes with hanging eyes and wire.
