Full description
A lovely orange glass pebble, stitched to a hand-woven background, forms the focus for this brooch design.
The glass pebble with a lovely iridescent effect, formed the inspiration for this design. The background has been woven from a variety of yarns, chosen to enhance the colours in the glass. A swirl of beads, in a similar blend of colours, is stitched to enfold the pebble.
The back of the brooch is neatened with commercial felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place. This brooch is one of a series, but, due to the individually woven backgrounds, and unique combination of beads, no two will ever be the same!
