Full description
Here is my latest suncatcher design, a beautiful cobalt blue star with a heart shaped cut out filled with delicate silver curls. More silver swirls fall in a cascade from the bottom of the star. It has a silver coloured chain and ring attached which means you can hang it either on a suction cup in a window or from a hook anywhere in your home.
Handcrafted using the traditional copper foil method and inspired by a tattoo design, each piece of glass is hand cut, the pieces are then soldered to make the star. Lastly the silver swirls are added to complete the effect.
Made using a rough rolled cobalt blue glass the sun looks simply stunning shining through the star
Size (when hung) approximately 35cm from top to bottom. The star and silver swirls measure approximately 17.5cm by 10.5cm and the chain, including the hanging rings is about 17cm long
