An Original Gracie's Garden Bazaar Design
Stitched Storybook Prettiness.
Gracie has been fascinated by the Quiet Princess’s story for a long time.As her title suggests The Quiet Princess spoke very few words and when she did speak her quiet utterances were barely audible. It is legendary that the Princess had pieces of jewellery made to represent her feelings and quiet words. She kept her pieces in a special casket and Gracie has been creating a Quiet Princess casket of her own. This cuff represents a restful contemplative mood.
MATERIALS-
- Soft clotted cream leather
- 1.5cm wide deep slate blue velvet ribbon
- a diamante buckle
- two layers of gathered cream vintage lace
- good quality beige wool mix felt
- antiqued seam binding ribbon
*Please note the ribbon seam binding is mean't to look creased and slightly uneven in colour to give the illusion of age.
MEASUREMENTS-
Cuff measures 3cm deep(plus 1cm of lace) and 18cm when laid flat but has ribbon ties therefore can be adjusted to any size wrist. If you choose to tie the ribbon in a bow you may need a lovely helper!
The overall look is nostalgically pretty and colours would definitely be suitable any season. The main colours are creams,whites,deep slate blue and beige.
Comes gift wrapped and would make a wonderful gift.
Each 'gracie make' is lovingly sewn by myself and often feature vintage materials so no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
