Inspired by Native American culture this is a beautiful and powerful ceremonial wand.
I have stripped and waxed a lovely piece of Sycamore which I found in some woodland near where I live. I have added a shark tooth, crystals and I have also done some peyote beadwork around the wand. It measures 13 1/2 " and would make a lovely addition to your magical collection.
Materials used and their attributes:
Sycamore symbolises growth, persistance, strength and endurance.
Sharks are called upon for protection and for accessing the unconscious mind. Shark is a very powerful totem to have. They teach us to swin the path of least resistance and to go forward driven by our primal instincts. They symbolise transition as they are constantly renewing themselfs. Shark people are efficient, dynamic, knowing, powerful and well equipped.
Garnets sharpen our perception and are used to enhance bodily strength, endurance and vigor.
Quartz is used for scrying, it stimulates psychism and amplifies power.
Amazonite enhances feelings of calmness and peace, it is useful for balancing the emotions, soothes the nervous system and strengthens the physical body.
Mother of pearl stimulates intuition and imagination. It also awakens the primordial energy of our origin.
Aquamarine is known as the treasure of the mermaids. It enhances feelings of peace and tranquility and helps us to access our unconscious mind.
Turquoise is used to attract luck and happiness. It also helps with self expression.
Swan feather symbolises transition, beauty and grace.
