Cream ribbon roses in the foreground of this embroidered bracelet are set against a mixed border.
The background of this bracelet has been needle felted using hand-dyed fibres, including merino and silk. The roses and buds in the foreground are stitched in a silk ribbon. The roses, lillies, irises etc in the border are stitched in embroidery threads using a combination of simple stitches. The design is framed by two rows of couching over green and cream yarns. The materials used, are the same as those in the rose garden brooch and pendant. The design is an adaptation of the brooch stitching. Whilst you may not choose to wear all three items at the same time, two or three of them would make a lovely gift set!
The bracelet is lined with purple felt and closes with a Tibetan silver style toggle clasp. This bracelet is a comfortable, slightly loose, fit on my 16 cm wrist. The fixing on the toggle clasp could be extended by up to 1 cm. For larger fittings please message me. A new bracelet, as close as possible to the original will be made for you and listed (reserved for you) for your approval - at no obligation.
