Full description
This papier mache box has been decoupaged in images taken from a fabulous Vogue magazine from 1991 celebrating 75 years of Vogue (no magazines were destroyed in its production!) . I have chosen to use the 1940's where fashion conscious women had to cope with the austerity of the war years and still look stunning! There is also a swimwear ad which is amusing in its description- 'you too can be in danger in one of the new Jantzens..which helps you to swim like a mermaid..'
To decorate the sides of the box, I have chosen reproductions from 1940's and art deco fabrics. It's perfect to store your treasures, mementoes and bits and pieces.
Measurements are 18cm x 18cm x 7cm and it has been varnished for protection. Signed underneath.
