Full description
Here is an appliqued cat looking contented next to a flower with a sequin centre. Around the edge is one of my favourite quotes from Stanley Spencer 'wherever a cat sits, there happiness shall be found'.
I drew the cat and cut it out by hand and then fused it to a background Amy Butler piece of fabric. Then I backstitched around the edge to create an outline and embroidered his features. I have then added the flower and stitched on the words. The model is my adopted cat. Mr Darcey. His fur is made from a posh V and A fat quarter.
It has then been backed with bright pink card which is signed and dated. It comes in an aceo clear envelope.
It is ACEO size 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
