Full description
This striking and unusual necklace is made with keshi pearls and sterling silver. The orchid pendant is fine silver and has been handcrafted by me.
Keshi pearls have a especially high lustre, as they are 100%nacre, they are formed when an oyster rejects the implanted nucleus before the culturing process is complete. I love the organic feel that they give this necklace.
The necklace fastens with a pearl enhancer, which clips round any of the sterling silver spacers. This gives the necklace versatility, it can be worn with the enhancer placed just above the Orchid, or placed futher up giving a y shaped necklace. the Orchid can be worn as a focal to add interest to the front of your outfit or at the back of your neck. This necklace would be gorgeous worn with a backless dress as a choker with the Orchid draping down at the nape of your neck.
This necklace measures 20.5"/52cm. I can make longer or shorter versions of this necklace, please contact me with your requirements.
