Large pom pom on a thin tortoiseshell plastic hairband.

Pom pom is made from various shades of beige, brown, and mustard tapestry wools as well as fluffly mohair-like burgundy yarn. This one reminds me of a tree in the autumn. It is 4" in diameter and 3 1/2" in height.

Pom pom is attached to a jumpring which allows you to move the pom pom to where you like on the hairband, so it could be to the side or in the middle or you can even remove the pom pom if you'd like to wear the hairband on it's own. It's almost a new type of fascinator, just with a childish hint :) The inspiration came from Sonia Rykiel's absolutely giant pom pom headbands.

I love the playfulness of certain crafts and pom pom making was something I hadn't done in a while. With some tapestry wool I had been donated by a family friend, I set about experimenting and this is what happened!

Hairbands cannot be refunded or exchanged due to hygiene reasons. If hairband arrives in damaged condition (I hope not) then a refund can be offered in this circumstance.
