Mermaid & pearls altered art trinket/keepsake box
A small wooden box has been distressed and painted in a pastal blue and highlighted with a white faded colour wash and then handstamped with a blue vintage script and the words 'Dreams' and 'Discover' have been added to the sides, along with a butterfly at the back.
The top is adorned with a beautiful mermaid formed from polymer clay and painted in silver with blue highlights and silver glitter. The mermaid holds a pearl (also made from polymer clay) and is surrounded by faux flat pearls and more glitter has been applied around the pearls.
A dazzling light blue faux gemstone has been added to the front of the box.
This is a small trinket box which measures just under 6cmx6cm and is 3.5cm high - please check measurements as the images are enlarged to show the finer details.
The box can be used for your trinkets, jewellery and other treasures. There is a magnet inside which allows the box to close. The inside of the box has been left as unpainted wood and outside of the box has been sealed with a clear protective glaze.
