I have Created this unique sari silk brooch using an exciting yarn produced from recycled Sari fabric. This would make a great gift for a stylish friend or loved one and making a great accessory for a blazer, scarf or even a cute prom dress.
The nature of the yarn means that each piece is truly individual and combines a number of vibrant colours. Each brooch is backed with black felt and has a brooch pin with catch.
The yarn is predominantly silk, although other fibres may be present. It is also a fair trade product, produced by a womans co-operative in India.
This particular brooch is 6cm in diameter and is made up from a mixture of red, green, white and yellow. It has been kept simple with no embellishments allowing the yarn texture to be the focus.
