The sea bamboo stones in this pretty necklace are an intense rich shade of red.
Sea bamboo is a type of deep sea coral and the chips I have used have been tumbled and polished until they are smooth and glossy.
I have threaded and knotted the sea bamboo onto a double length of chocolate brown macrame cord, which is fine but very strong. The necklace has a lovely drape and is very light and easy to wear.
The chips vary in size from 5mm to about 8mm and the necklace is 88cm long. It fastens with a lobster clasp in antique bronze finish
