This taggy measures approx 18 x 23 cm and would make a lovely gift for any baby.

The caterpillar is securely machine stitched on to the fabric. There are 6 different ribbon tags for baby to twiddle with. A plastic hook is attached to one of the tags so the taggy can easily be clipped to a buggy or car seat so it can't be 'dropped' on the floor. The back of the blanket is made from either a bright grass green towelling or a soft cream slightly fluffy fabric. THERE ARE ONLY SOFT FLUFFY CREAM BACKED TAGGIES AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT - CURRENTLY WORKING ON A NEW SELECTION WITH LOVELY BRIGHT YELLOW TOWELLING

My babies loved to play with empty wrappers so I have put a scrunchy bit inside to make a crinkly noise.

My little tester has twiddled, fiddled, pulled and sucked her own taggy and it is a firm favourite.

Each taggy is slightly different - the caterpillars are in different poses and the colour of the ribbon and hooks vary. If you would prefer a particular colour (please only choose one that is pictured!) please let me know and if it is still available I will make sure this is the one you receive.

Like lots of people I've always loved the Very Hungry Caterpillar story so was chuffed to see that you could buy fabric (thus combining two loves, children's books and sewing!) Having a small baby when I designed this a little taggy cloth was the perfect thing for her so I made a few, gave one away as a gift and then had a few to sell. I took them into work as a friend wanted one and within 5 minutes I'd sold the lot! I've just made some more as have some pre-orders and a Christmas sale coming up.
