Following a visit to Blackpool, I remembered a poem I learned as a child. I recited as much as I could recall to my children and then made the ceramic reminder.

Full description
There's a famous seaside place called Blackpool that's noted for fresh air and fun'.
This adorable ceramic is handcut from white earthenware clay. It is imprinted with the first line from Albert and the Lion.
It is fired once to mature the clay and then washed with black iron oxide to pick out the details in the loettering. It is finished with a glossy transparent glaze.
The man will hang on your wall with a couple of double sided sticky pads or is just lovely as an object in his own right.
All my ceramics are personalisable. I'm more than happy to work with customers to make something unique. Just ask.
