Full description
This classic silk handbag is made from vintage kimono silk in a striking abstract floral design of claret red and cream on a plain black background. The inside facing and handles are in a toning red silk dupion and the bag is lined with a matching deep red satin.
The bag is lightly padded, interlined and interfaced to give it structure. There is an interior pocket, divided into two sections, for those important little things. The base of the bag is stiffened for support. The handles are long enough to sit comfortably on the shoulder, but not too long to carry in the hand. The bag is fastened with a secure magnetic clasp.
Perfect for a special occasion, evening or summer event, this unique bag would also make an ideal gift.
The approx dimensions of the bag are: width at top 13 inches (33cm), width at base 10.5 inches (27cm), height 10 inches (25cm), base/side depth 3 inches (8 cm). The handles are 21 inches long (53cm), with a shoulder-to-bag drop of 9.5 inches (24cm).
I recommend spot-cleaning with a damp sponge or dry-cleaning.
