HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT CUPPA
• Use only the finest tea, preferably fairtrade and organic.
• Bring freshly drawn water to the boil.
• Warm the teapot and cups with hot water before use.
• Using 1 tea bag or 1 rounded teaspoon of tea per person, place in the pot and pour on the freshly boiled water.
• Allow the tea to brew for 4 or 5 minutes before pouring into cups or mugs.
• Add milk and sugar to taste, or lemon for a more refreshing brew.
• Use a tea cosy to keep the pot warm between cups
Best served with a slice of cake or a couple of homemade biscuits...... yummy....

We truly believe these are the best cosies around, and the high-street alternatives don’t even come close to our quality, design, efficiency and high ethical standards.
Never cutting-corners, never making-do, never out-sourcing. Every tea cosy you see at The Tea Cosy Shop is hand-knitted and hand-stitched carefully, with the utmost attention to function and quality.
