Full description
A chunky necklace rich in colours and textures. Beadwoven tube beads accented with silver plated beads in a variety of textures. Falls to about an inch below the average collarbone. I see this necklace looking great with a silk shirt echoing one of the fabulous colours in it!
For the aficionados - I've made these tube beads using zipped peyote stitch - with the biggest beads it's feasible to use for that stitch for the terracotta coloured tubes, resulting in a somewhat loose and very textural weave! All finished to my usual pernickety standards.
Materials: glass rocailles, silver plated beads and spacers, silver plated clasp..
Measurements: eighteen and a half inches/47 cm excluding the clasp. It's currently strung on nylon mono filament but will be re-strung on flex-rite beading wire with a breaking strength of 18 lbs before shipping. It fastens with a simple silver plated lobster claw clasp.
