Rudbeckia Hirta or Black-Eyed-Susan is a native to North America and is synonymous with summer. The genus name honours Olof Rudbeck, Swedish explorer and scientist, and Professor of Medicine at Uppsala University, for centuries, one of Europe's most renowned seats of learning.
