Rock chick meets vintage chic in this fabulous one-of-a-kind necklace.
The starting point was a vintage brooch which had shed most of its stones through a life of glamorous parties and late nights. I replaced the missing fauz pearls with tiny rose quartz and jade beads to create a pretty bouquet.
From it I hung a trio of tough-girl chains - an antique gold curb chain, a series of shiny hematite cubes carefully handwired together and a fine antique gold chain.
To balance the necklace, the other side features a vintage chandelier drop hanging from a dove grey Swarovski pearl with a cluster of stones including a sprkling faceted rock crystal briolette, exotic jade, romantic rose quartz and pretty faceted aquamarine.
The necklace is designed so the feature on each side sits just on the collarbone.
