Another necklace from our ‘Hidden Range’
A necklace that represents the universe and our place within it.
The amber, which is the focal point of the necklace, is a vintage piece taken from an old necklace and re-used to create this piece.
The amber represents the ancient earth and the trees and plants that grew on that earth. This amber is hidden behind a silver star made by myself, by hand, using PMC (polymer metal clay (99%) silver. The star is textured with small circles.
The two pieces, the silver star and the amber create the main pendant.
The pendant is hung by a silver bail from the sterling silver necklace. Half way along the length of one side of the chain is a blue sodalite stone, caged in a sterling silver wire. This stone represents our planet and the silver our delicate atmosphere surround the planet.
The necklace, represents our planet and its ancient roots and the stars in the universe.
Length of necklace approx. 19 inches or 48 cm
Drop of pendant approx. 2 inches or 5 cm
