Another 'lit and lacquer' necklace :)
Three wood beads, which I've hand-layered, hand-lacquered and hand painted; I've then strung them on bronze chain with a teeny little bronze and glass drop.
I've finished the necklace with a bronze trigger clasp and safety chain.
The paper I've used on the beads is from the preface of an 1881 new testament, all layered with waterbased lacquer; the central bead I've painted in a lovely dark green with touches of copper - this has been sealed with lacquer too.
Chain length approx 18ins.
