Kettle-dyed by me, in my kitchen, using a variety of dyes :) Its a 3 ply aran, and is a very special yarn, as it is made from the fleeces of the only flock of Merino sheep in the UK....luxuriously soft too, which is just perfect for baby/childrens items...or just a little bit of luxury for you !
The second picture shows how this method of dyeing looks when knitted into a hat..... :) Which incidentally, is NOT for sale ;)
It's a Jester Hat, designed by the very talented WoollyWormhead...and the pattern is available as a free download, on her website
