Description

I planed this unusual piece of burr sycamore some years ago and have lived with it in my workshop since then, waiting for a special job to show it off.

Last week I found, in a drawer, a little packet containing some fossil ammonites and decided to combine one of them with the wood. This is the result. I like the finished result so much that I almost kept it for myself but it deserves to be owned by someone with a real talent for drawing, or by someone whose handwriting is more attractive than mine!

Overall measurements are approximately 170mm (6 3/4") x 220mm (8 3/4") x 30mm (1 1/4") and the perforated leaves are A5 size.

The postage rate (recorded delivery) reflect the weight of the book which is around 720grams!
