Hello, all I am delighted to say my new packaging is has arrived it's very eco friendly. The bags are compostable for home composting along with the tape and boxes. They aren’t as pretty as my old ones but they are planet kind and that’s very important.
For a large order you may receive one of my older poly bags but there are not many left.
I am trying to put new items into the shop several times a week so please stop buy soon if there is nothing to tempt you today.
I will be posting twice a week to reduce time spent out during this time, which I am sure you will understand.

A lovely hand dyed skein of 800m lush lace 80% merino 20% silk dyed with coreopsis petals.
You can see the process in the photos. (The equipment isn't included) I grew the coreopsis on my allotment picking the fresh flowers every three days but leaving some for the bees. This colour was made from freshly picked petals as you can see in the pictures.
The petals were mixed into the yarn to give a beautiful patchy effect of yellows and lemons.
Please hand wash in cool water with minimal agitation to avoid felting.
If you want this winding into a yarn cake before sending to you just let me know and I'll be happy to sort that.
