This first size crochet baby jacket has been made using only the green shades from a long colour change yarn and set off against white.

The yarn I have used is nice and soft. This item does have an element of sparkles/glittery effect.

All of my items are presented gently folded in a tissue lined gift box and come with individually created care cards. The gift box can be used for storage or reused as the label should be able to be removed without too much trouble.

How to clean the item:
Clean by gently placing in cool water and a specialist delicate soap such as SOAK or Eucalan and allow to soak for 30 minutes, no vigorous rubbing is needed. Gently squeeze out the excess water (do not wring), place on a clean towel and roll it up then press down gently on the towel to soak up as much as possible. Lay out flat on a clean surface, gently stretch out to shape and maintain its beauty.

Everything in store has been hand knit or crocheted by myself using high quality vintage yarns, natural fibres, natural fibre blends or yarns that I have hand spun myself. I very rarely use brand new mass produced yarns or chemically produced yarns such as acrylic.

All items are gift boxed as standard, which makes gifting easy whilst also protecting the item during transit, and all items are sent via tracked and insured method for peace of mind of all parties.

I was sorting through some old patterns that I had been given, many so old that the price printed on them was in the old shillings and pence, pre-decimalisation in 1971 and before I was born, and I was working out what yarns in my stash could be a substitute for that stated in the pattern, which was no longer manufactured. The pattern called for white but I had some multi-coloured yarn that I didn't know what to make with it and I also had some white, both with a soft slightly fluffy texture to them so would work well together and I like to put my own spin on things sometimes, add a bit of colour or make small changes to improve or update a pattern.
