Siskins are a bird I hadn't seen in the UK till I visited the New forest one autumn.
These bright yellow birds, looked like canaries in a forest!
The next time I saw them was in Snowdon national park, where we managed to get a great photograph of one which is what this print is based on
What I love about drawing birds is the detail in the feathers, and I have tried to capture that with this linocarving.
