Each one has been individually handmade, and no two are the same.</p> <p><b>About the materials:</b> Each tag is 9cm long and 4.5cm wide - big enough for a decent-sized message. They’re made of pH neutral, 100% recycled manila card - a lovely sturdy board with a light brown tone and slightly ‘hairy’ feel. Each one comes with a tie made from 3-ply, 100% biodegradable jute twine.</p> <p><b>About the design:</b> Every tag features its own original postage stamp - a bit like a tiny postcard. I love rooting through stamps, but I’ve no idea of their value. I suppose there’s always a chance you could end up with one worth thousands, but I wouldn’t hold your breath! I don’t use any British stamps, as I think that would be a bit dull…</p> <p>’This is just to say…’ has been individually typed onto each tag using my decrepit but much-loved 1930s typewriter. Finally, I’ve added a little swallow in flight, stamped in Encore metallic copper ink.</p> <p>All five tags will be safely tucked into their own biodegradable glassine paper bag.</p> <p>Please note that I’ve made a few sets, so you may not get the exact tags - and thus the exact stamps - pictured here.
