Having lost a feline buddy that was treated like the child we were too old to conceive naturally I felt it eased my heartfelt pain to make a symbol of him that I could stroke.
Being able to see an image of my long lost companion helped me to come to terms with the suffering I endured and many lonely nights listening for him scratching the door and meowing to come in out of the cold.
Tears streaming down my aged face as the realisation sank in to my quivering soul.
