This is another piece I painted for a corporate calendar. I got some prints because unless you're a part of one of the businesses for whom it was created, you wouldn't have seen it.
This comes from a combination of a photograph and my memory. The photo came from my fell running escapades in the Peak District. I wanted to get at the feel of heated air in July and the soporific, dreamy quality of looking at complex, colourful rhododendron bushes in bloom.
