In this painting it is all about the land. The shires landscape is a woven texture of ploughed fields, meadows and rolling countryside. The promise of new crops and fresh produce on your plate. Inspired by a road trip and the view from my van. Being able to sit high above the hedgerows allows for a different angle and with movement of the view creates blurred lines, adding warmth and softness to the painting.
