Full description
This solid little basket is plaited with paper from a history textbook. It has a square base with sides rising to finish in a circular rim. I am experimenting with this plaiting technique and the baskets I produce with it are each unique, as the size, shape and character of the finished piece changes depending on the materials used. This basket is handmade in England.
