About this Make

This technique was shown to me by a lovely lady from the knitter’s guild at a craft show.
This make comes with a warning, it is addictive, after I made my first finger knitted scarf I finger knitted all the wool I had!
It's easy, fun and anyone can do it from kids to great grandparents!

Materials required

You will need some wool and a pair of hands, its best if the hands are your own!
I would reccomend at least 4 strands of double knitting or chunky wools to the equivelant. Fun fashion wools mixed in gives great effects and textures.

Why oh why did I look here. I've got the bug well and truly. Your instructions are so clear that I am now half way through number 12. What will I do with them all. I'm an addict, but how theraputic is this. Thanks.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how much wool is needed to make an 'average' length scarf ? I've tried this with oddments of wool & am hooked!

I LOVE IT!!! I can teach it to my kids. I had one idea though. When I finished this I felt like it was too thin so I made two more of the same length and braided them together before adding the pom-pom balls at the end. It's so cute!

Brilliant!! My seven year old really wants to knit but struggles with the needles. I found your 'make' and she has followed the instructions all by herself and is very proud of herself!! I'll post some pics of her creation on my blog later if you fancy having a look! Thank you so much!!! Daisie xxx
