I'm a designer, maker, seamstress and dressmaking tutor living in Guisborough in the north-east of England.
Since 2011 I have worked as a professional seamstress, and I began teaching dressmaking in 2014. When covid-19 took all of my income, I retreated to my little sewing room (aka the back bedroom) and began stitching hair accessories.
As far as possible I use reclaimed, deadstock, vintage and organic fabrics to realise my designs to reduce their environmental impact.
I never quite finished my "goth phase", as I've loved all things spooky and creepy and old for as long as I can remember, so you'll find plenty of skulls and bats and spiderwebs in my designs. If you're also the kind of person who never quite gets round to putting the last Halloween decorations away (like, ever), then my work is for you. I hope you enjoy it. :)
