A funky new design (or re-design) where I've remixed my original idea a bit :) This time the Space Invaders are bigger and better! Still 80s-tastic, naturally. From my own design, whizzed up on the knitting machine then felted for super softness. (Please note, the space invaders design is only seen on the front of the scarf. The reverse has little felted tufts where I have trimmed the floats at the back - see first pic.) This would make a fantastic gift for any eighties (retro-computer-game-loving) kids. Also a nice way to say 'I love you' to someone special :) I cut out a little heart shape from a lambswool fabric I originally knitted then felted (raspberry red with grey heart motif), backed it with a contrasting colour felt and stitched it all together using embroidery thread.
