Hi, I'm Tracey, the designer maker behind the brand Bags of Elegance. My love for sewing started when I was a child of about 9 years old, I am a self taught dress maker seamstress, and I have done a short course on ladies and gent's tailoring at night schooI . I just love fabrics. I started my online shop while I was taking some time out from my mainstream retail job due to stress. I was unemployed for a while and I wanted to do something valuable and constructive with my time, so I started sewing bags and accessories.Thanks to internet sights like Folksy my passion for sewing and making things has grown into something bigger than I could ever imagine. I don't make mass produced, and some items are complete one of kind.
I work from my home based work studio and I source all my own fabrics from local shops and suppliers such as upholstery companies.
I am very privileged to be able to work from home in my own time and create beautiful bags and accessories, I am a self employed person and fully registered with HMRC.

I bought two scarves and a ladies wallet.They were posted and arrived at my door just a couple of days later.So certainly five stars for that.The scarves are absolutely fabulous and so reasonably priced.The wallet is gorgeous,craftsmen made for style design and usability.
I chose these for gifts but it is very tempting to keep them myself.Give stars and more if I could give them.These items are the tops

A large floor cushion made from quality fabrics in a lovely patchwork design, having the inner lining included is very useful. Item was sent quickly and nicely wrapped and packed. Thank you
