Embroidered gifts & gadget covers for animal lovers all handmade in Scotland from Harris Tweed and other gorgeous fabrics

Hi,

I live in Braemar, a wee rural village in the highlands of Scotland with a very nice husband, two trying teenagers and their assortment of friends and two constantly muddy westies called Angus and Hamish.

Loobie and Boo was born out of a love of art, drawing, gorgeous fabrics and sewing.

Using a mixture of appliqué work and free hand machine embroidery using my trusty Janome sewing machine, I design and make by hand a unique range of fun and quirky gifts, accessories and gadget covers using Harris Tweed and other gorgeous fabrics.

I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs and my work is dominated by different dog breeds, birds, foxes and even a highland cow.

All my felt brooches are hand cut from my own designs and then appliquéd onto fabric. I then use my sewing machine to ‘draw’ around each design outlining and giving definition which makes each and every piece completely unique.

I am so lucky to spend the day doing a job I am truly passionate about. I put my heart and soul into every piece that I make and all my work is designed to brighten up your day and make you smile, if I have achieved that then I am a happy girlie :)
