Hello there, I'm Abby and I am the very proud owner of Wonderland Works.

I am a bubbly, chatty and positive (well most of the time!) person, I'm the girl that is always laughing and smiling about something - I have my business - Wonderland Works - to thank for this!
After a fair amount of traumatic experiences I have been diagnosed with depression and generalised anxiety disorder - meaning I felt I was not good enough and was very down on myself. The thought of me owning my own business 8 years ago would have just been a joke to me. I discovered that I felt comfortable in working behind a bar - it is there where my confidence grew and I started to mix with people again, after many years of pouring pints and learning drunk talk I decided I needed a new chapter in my life.
TA-DA! Wonderland Works was born! I've always been into arts and crafts, anything messy in my opinion is just great fun! I started off making cards (as most of us artisans do) and the business slowly developed in to what it is today.
It took a few years of experimenting, tears and tantrums to work out how I wanted my business to be seen and right now I am very happy.
I have always loved animals, big and small (except spiders!! I don't like those at all!) and wanted to include all types in my work to show my appreciation of each species. I live not even a minute from country lanes (where I walk my dog - Monty as often as I possibly can) and 10 minutes walk to a forest so to hear the owls, see the hedgehogs and foxes is a dream come true - not everyone gets that opportunity so it is not something I take for granted.
I attend a lot of shows, fairs and events with the business that reflect my love & passion for wildlife and nature so if you are local to Worcestershire - keep an eye out for me.
My customers and Wonderland Works have saved me and helped me become "me" again - the daft, happy go lucky, no one stands in my way, strong girl that I was many many years ago!
So here's to the many years of Wonderland Works and where it will take me next and most importantly - here's to you for helping support small businesses!!
