Meet the maker Julia Wykes

All goods in my shop are handmade by me, Julia.

My most enduring creative passion is for embroidery/textiles because I love the tactile qualities of fabric. All the pieces I make are one-of-a-kind individual items. I aim to make things which are finished to a high quality and I hope the care I take gives pleasure to the buyer.

I like to use good quality materials, like linen, silks and velvets, but I will also include upcycled fabrics, vintage buttons old lace and, occasionally, vintage beads. I try to be ethical in my choices; I don't want my work to "cost the earth", literally or metaphorically.

All items are wrapped in tissue paper and posted first class in a padded envelope.

If you wish to return an item, please contact me within 7 days of receipt & return the item within 14 days, unused & with original packaging. Postage is not refunded except where an item is not as described/faulty. For your protection it is recommended you use a trackable method of return.
